DC Direct Busts Open New World for Fables’ Snow White, Bigby Wolf

The premier couple of Fabletown take on exciting new dimensions  as DC Direct unveils two new eagerly awaited Fables Busts of Snow White (JAN100375D, $60) and Bigby Wolf (JAN100376D, $60), designed by Fables series artist Mark Buckingham and sculpted by Paul Harding.

Bill Willingham’s Eisner Award-winning tales of classic storybook characters living between two worlds – theirs, and our “real” one – have captivated readers from the first issue, generating consistently high sales of the series’ single issues and collections. Inspired by "Storybook Love" from the bestselling Fables, Volume 3, these two hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain busts recreate the fan-favorite characters in two of their most memorable moments.

Measuring approximately 5" H x 2.5" W x 4" D, Snow White is depicted with her weapon at the ready, while Bigby – standing approximately 6" H x 3.25" W x 5" D – is captured in the middle of his dramatic transformation from human to wolf.

Each bust is mounted atop a base of relief sculptures seen in the story, and each ships in a four-color box.
