Day-Early Delivery: Marvel Comics - FOC Dates and Marvel Mailer Advisory
Retailers are advised that, in preparation for the implementation of Day-Early Delivery (and due to upcoming holidays), the FOC due dates for Marvel Comics products shipping in January will alternate between Friday and Monday, and products shipping in February and later in 2011 will carry Monday FOC due dates.
As of Monday, December 20, Marvel will have implemented the new Monday schedule for its FOC dates, with corresponding Marvel Mailers to be provided the Thursday before the FOC. The first instance of a Thursday Marvel Mailer will be Thursday, December 16, and that Mailer will touch on Marvel products with an FOC date of December 20.
The Marvel Mailer will then continue to be delivered on Thursdays following this first instance. (Dates are subject to change if necessary due to inclement weather and holiday schedules.) Information regarding the other Premier publishers part of the FOC program will be made available in additional Daily articles when available.
