Take Advantage of WizKids’ “Kill & Keep” MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Event!
In February, WizKids, LLC will organize a nationwide event to support the
launch of the newest expansion for its MechWarrior Collectible Miniatures
Game (CMG), and you can make your store a part of the action with the purchase
of WizKids' MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Starter Set
(NOV044077G)
and Booster Pack
(NOV044078G)!
Called a "Kill & Keep" event -- a format used by WizKids with tremendous success at conventions -- this sealed tournament will invite MechWarrior players to challenge Envoys at participating specialty stores, with the Envoys playing the furnished prizes as game pieces. When a challenging player "kills" one of the prize pieces, he or she gets to keep it -- even the ultra-rare MechWarrior Dropship, one copy of which will be provided to all retailers who take part in the event!
In addition to the Dropship, shops that host an Age of Destruction "Kill & Keep" event will receive a ton of additional prizes, including 22 Limited Edition MechWarrior miniatures from the recent Counterassault and Falcon's Prey expansions. Participating stores will also be registered as such on WizKids' website.
To make their stores official MechWarrior: Age of Destruction "Kill & Keep" event sites, retailers need only purchase 24 copies of the MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Starter Set and 144 copies of the MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Booster Pack by Monday, January 10. Once the purchase requirements are met, Diamond will work with WizKids to get your shop fully registered. • MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Starter Set: Featuring opposing mercenary battle forces representing Wolf's Dragoons and the 21st Centauri Lancers, this set contains everything two players need to play, including 10 pre-painted units, six Mercenary contract cards, four terrain pieces, two gear cards, two pilot cards, two planetary condition cards, three dice, a flexible ruler, a playmate, a rulebook, and one special equipment card.
• MechWarrior: Age of Destruction Booster Pack: Each booster contains a random assortment of four pre-painted, fully assembled MechWarrior: Age of Destruction miniatures (one 'Mech, one vehicle, and two infantry), one gear card, one pilot card, and one random card (either a planetary condition card, faction pride card, or situational alliance card).
