DST Unleashes Four Premium Marvel Comics Statues, Busts
Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles (DST) offers Marvel Comics collectors
not four awesome new sculpted and limited edition releases, perfect for fans of
three-dimensional art!
Available for immediate delivery, each of these statues and busts captures one of Marvel's incredible heroes or villains in a gorgeous, fully painted and ready to display sculpture. Limited and hand-numbered, each piece comes with a matching numbered box and Certificate of Authenticity.
• Premiere Collection: Rogue Statue (MAY052327U): Not much is known about her history, except that as a girl from Mississippi, Rogue discovered her unique mutant ability to capture other people's thoughts, memories and abilities by merely touching them. These discoveries lead her to run away and eventually join the X-Men, but not before working with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants under the tutelage of Mystique. This full-sized statue of the young heroine comes with a detailed road base and depicts her in battle stance, ready to rumble. Sculpted by Steve Kiwus, this statue is limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide;
• Marvel Universe: Demogoblin Bust (MAY052328U): The Demogoblin -- a demonic offshoot of the Hobgoblin -- possesses an evil so fierce that he knows no allies, and he's taken on Spider-Man and many of his enemies. Eventually, the Hobgoblin and Demogoblin fought until his death inside a church. Designed by Gentle Giant, this sculpt features a hooded Demogoblin with great detailing, including a torn-up face and fiery Jack-O-Lantern bomb and is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide;
• Rogues Gallery: Rhino Bust (MAY052329U): As the subject of a radical experiment, smalltime crook and enforcer Alex O'Hirn developed super-human strength and endurance that -- combined with the development of an indestructible suit -- created one of the most formidable opponents that Spider-Man and the Hulk would ever face: The Rhino. This 7"-tall bust depicts the rampaging Rhino bursting though a rock wall, head down and out-of-control. Designed and sculpted by Art Asylum, it also features a detailed rock base with a sculpted nameplate and is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide;
• Wolverine Maquette (MAY052330U): Perhaps the most beloved and mysterious of all the X-Men, Wolverine is a rough-and-tumble scrapper with an even tougher attitude. His adamantium skeleton, razor-sharp claws and mutant healing factor have given him a distinct advantage in his many battles. This Marvel Maquette stands in scale with past releases and features the man also known as "Logan" standing tall in his X-Men uniform, claws extended, mounted on a classic Marvel base. Sculpted by Derek Miller, this maquette is limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide.
Fans of Diamond Select Toys' beautiful sculptures and the characters represented will sure find these four limited edition pieces irresistible, so see below for details, as well as a linked listing of related in stock merchandise from DST, and confirm your quantities before it's too late!
