Fooly Cooly Action Figures Available for Reorder Now!
Studio Gainax, the creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion, has scored
another international home run with its bizarre, funny, and altogether different
digital anime series Furi Kuri, known widely outside of Japan as Fooly
Cooly, or simply FLCL. Now, Western audiences who enjoy the new show
can also enjoy a new series of toys based on it, as FLCL Action Figures
from Japan are now in stock and available for Reorder from Diamond!
The unusual story of FLCL - about Naota, an adolescent boy who must deal with his older brother leaving for the U.S. to play baseball, dodging a girl who wants to whack him with her electric guitar, and robots that spring from his head - has charmed, intrigued, and entertained millions of consumers. The DVD of the series' first volume placed sixth on Diamond's Top 10 Videos Chart in January 2002, indicating a strong demand for FLCL products.
