Spokane, WA’s Comic Book Shop

About Our Shop

Favorite Recent Comic Book: DC Vertigo’s Unwritten.

Special Events: Creator signings, Free Comic Book Day.

Community involvement: Various charitable donations.

How was your last Free Comic Book Day event? Great! We had the Star Wars 501st in attendance and face painting, which was a huge attraction.

What aspect of your store makes you most proud? Our customer service, though we are always trying to get even better.

What do you do that is innovative within your store? 2,000 title used graphic novel section.

What has been your best promotion? Free Comic Book Day.

What changes have you made in the store over the last six months? We are always re-designing our displays and our interior in general to achieve the best traffic flow in the store.

What are your plans for the near future? Expand our customer base.  Steal new ideas from anywhere we happen to find them.

What have you seen within a FTR store feature that you have used in your own store? They influence what we do.  Good stores that are showcased make us do a better job.

How did you choose your store name? No matter what comic store customers go to, they will always be going to the comic shop. So I picked a name that would always be in their minds.

Owner and manager, Craig Barnett and Matt Reynolds, smile for the camera! New comic books line the walls of the store. There are plenty of toys and action figures for interested fans.
