How was your Free Comic Book Day? “Very good; lots of new faces and excitement for (DC’s) Blackest Night.”

What did you like about the Retailer Summit? Meeting fellow retailers

What aspect of your store makes you most proud? Organization. Being able to walk to a back issue box and pull up the issue a customer wants is a good feeling.

What do you do that is innovative within your store? We go out of our way to get what the customer needs, either from our other store or from a competitor.

What has been your best in-store promotion? Free Comic Book Day; Cinco de Magico Magic  the Gathering tournaments

What has been your best out-of-store or cross-promotion?
Working with local theatres; talking to Scout troops, and to school and library groups

What recent changes have you made in the store? We’ve started to get our overstock in shape. It’s taken over the back room and must be tamed.

What are your plans for the near future? Massive restock in back issues, and purging and focusing our trade paperback section.

How did you choose your store name? “It is a nickname I got from a cartoon character with a high-pitched voice that I imitated all the time.”
