How was your Free Comic Book Day ‘09? Ridiculously busy. Our opening line stretched over 100 yards out of the store! 2009 was the best FCBD ever. A lot of new faces and FCBD has expanded our kid clientele.

What aspect of your store makes you most proud? Our customer service. We try to approach service as a comic book version of Cheers, “where everybody knows your name.”

What has been your best in-store promotion? Has to be FCBD. Wall-to-wall busy for over eight hours.

What has been your best out-of-store or cross-promotion? Participating with local movie theatres on comic movie releases.

What are your plans for the near future? Plan a major overhaul of displays and use of space.

How did you choose your store name? Previous owner chose name
