Global Authentication Launches Wax-Pack Authentication Service
Global Authentication - a leading provider of quality grading and
authentication in the collectibles industry - has initiated its Wax-Pack
Authentication Service.
According to Global Authentication, the service authenticates wax-packs by insuring they are never opened or searched. Every pack is placed in a tamper-evident holder and sonically welded to provide security, protection, and a guarantee for the life of the pack while resting in the holder.
"There's big money being spent on unopened material," explained Global Authentication President Steve Rocchi. "A 1952 Topps wax-pack recently sold for close to $8,000 in MastroNet's auction. Providing a guaranteed opinion will insure a greater comfort level for everyone involved."
