DC Direct Classic Animation Maquette Spotlights Green Lantern

.html
DC Direct will expand its line of Classic Animation Maquettes with a second fan-favorite character from its animated universe on the WB -- Green Lantern (OCT030311, $89.95) from Superman: The Animated Series.

Fans who appreciate the fine animation style pioneered in 1992 by Batman: The Animated Series has been enthusiastically ordering the first Classic Animation Maquette -- Nightwing (AUG030289, $89.95) from The New Batman Adventures -- and have made the various characters in the Justice League Animated Maquette series equally hot collectibles. This new maquette, sculpted by John G. Mathews, should continue that trend with a hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain likeness of Kyle Rayner as he appeared in the episode, "In Brightest Day ..."

The 9-1/8"-tall x 3-3/8"-wide x 3-3/8"-deep maquette -- which will be packaged in a four-color box -- is advance-solicited in the October Previews, and is slated to ship on April 21, 2004.
